Community Involvement

Joe Oliva has been very involved in community affairs going back to the 1970s. He is a past member of the Signet Bank, Northern Neck advisory board; past chairman of the Irvington Town planning commission; past director of the Homebuilders Association, Rappahannock chapter; past director and President of the Kilmarnock, Irvington, White Stone Rotary Club; past director of the Historic Christ Church Foundation; past director of the Lancaster Community Library; past director of the White Stone Chamber of Commerce and the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce. He was also a member of the original financial steering committee for the creation of Rappahannock Westminster Canterbury in Irvington. Joe currently volunteers with the Northern Neck Special Olympics.
